[120129] Miryo’s Horror Movie-like 2nd Teaser Revealed

The 2nd official teaser video for Brown Eyed Girls member Miryo‘s upcoming solo album, “Miryo aka Johoney,” has just been released on the Brown Eyed Girls’ official YouTube channel.

Miryo’s first solo album, set to be released on February 1st, has already been garnering much interest from fans. Her first teaser, featuring SNSD‘s Sunny, was released on January 27th. Fans are now itching to know whether or not Sunny will be featured in a song on the album or if she will be in a future music video.

The new teaser stars Miryo herself. Within the teaser are cryptic messages such as, “She’s lost her mind,” “Death starts with her,” and “She sees everything.” Coupled with creepy and borderline grisly scenes, the teaser strongly resembles a horror movie.

In response to the teaser, fans have shown their excitement and anticipation for the album, commenting:

“With both this teaser and Sunny’s teaser, I really can’t wait for this album.”

“I wonder if the title track is going to be scary.”

“I really can’t tell what kind of genre the album is going to be.”

Album producer Lance stated, “Miryo both wrote and produced all the songs on this album. Additionally, she had 4 of her tracks mastered by world renown mastering engineer Stephen Marcussen, who has worked with famous artists such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and Bruno Mars.” He also revealed the impressive staff line-up for Miryo’s album. He disclosed, “Many composers participated on this album, including Ichiro Suezawa, The Koxx, Kim Gun Woo, and Koonta and Real Dreamer of Rude Paper.“

“Miryo aka Johoney” is expected to be a much different and new music style from her fellow BEG members Gain and Narsha‘s solo albums.

On January 31st, Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo released the third video teaser for her upcoming solo album "MIRYO aka JOHONEY."

Miryo's first teaser featured Girls' Generation's Sunny entering an elevator before being handed a ticket invitation to Miryo's performance. However, the second video teaser gave a completely different feel and had the features of a horror movie.

The third teaser begins with a calm air, and a woman is seen emerging from the curtains and walking up to her catatonic look-alike in bed. The words "Dirty; Mirror" appears at the end of the video.

Miryo will release her 1st solo album on February 1st at midnight. Are you looking forward to her album and music video release?

[120202] Miryo Song Titled 'Dirty' gets banned in KBS

Shortly after her title song "Dirty" gets banned from SBS due to it's lyrics, now it has also not passed deliberation from KBS. Unfortunately, Miryo's songs was seen unfit for public broadcast due to it's lyrics. Miryo also is set to have her comeback performance this week on KBS "Music Bank" and there is simply no time to change the song and apply for reconsideration.

An official from Miryo's agency said, "We simply do not have time to change the song in time for her comeback stage. Instead of her performing 'Dirty' she will be performing a different song instead". Miryo will be performing "Leggo" instead of "Dirty" due to time constraints.

Meanwhile, Miryo's solo album is receiving huge popularity among fans and her rapping abilities are receiving more recognition as well.

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Miryo has showcased her talent in languages through three new videos on YouTube.

Miryo made her solo debut last week with her very first album, ‘Miryo a.k.a Johoney‘, which drew features from many artists like fellow BEG member Narsha and rapper Rude Paper. In these videos, Miryo introduces herself and her new album, saying that she takes great pride in it because she helped produce it.

Miryo also revealed that her title song, “Dirty“, was based on a “real experience“.

On February 10th, Brown Eyed Girls‘ Miryo unveiled a special surprise for her fans!

The rapper teamed up with Girls’ Generation member Sunny for a track in her album called “I Love You, I Love You“. The lyrics in the song express a girl’s regret over pushing her lover away because of her anger and pride. She holds onto the memories, but eventually realizes that she has to let him (and them) go.

The music video for “I Love You, I Love You” is comprised of behind-the-scenes clips from Miryo’s recording studio, photoshoots, and dance rehearsals. Girls’ Generation fans will find Sunny working with Miryo in the recording room.

Brown Eyed Girls' Jea has gone for a short cut after sporting a long hair style for quite some time now.

On May 9th, the singer updated fans on Twitter with the caption, “Snipped off my hair to a short haircut~! Ah, it feels refreshing,” and attached a fresh four-set selca of herself at the hair salon.

Upon seeing her tweet, fans began to question whether her sudden haircut was for her upcoming solo album. They commented, “You look so pretty,” “Is this a hint that you’ll be releasing a solo album soon,” and “You still look beautiful, racoon leader.”

Fellow members Narsha and Miryo also expressed their shock at the sudden haircut tweeting, “Did you get ditched (by a guy)?” and “Oh my god!”

Meanwhile, Brown Eyed Girls have recently wrapped up a successful performance at the Korean International University Festival in Jinju, performing their past hits “Candy Man” and “Abracadabra” as well as songs from their 4th album.

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha confessed that her "drinker image" was all due to a rare gene that allows great alcohol comsumption.

On the episode of "Radio Star" that aired on May 9, a few cast members from the MBC drama, "Light and Shadows" guest starred including Kim Hee Won, Lee Sae Chang and Narsha. Narsha gave many laughs through her stories and experiences as a Brown Eyed Girls member and an "adult-dol."

The MCs explained that there is such a gene that allows a lot of alcohol consumption. The gene is only found in 10 percent of Koreas and is said that those with the gene can drink alcohol as if it is water. Narsha acknowledged this and surprised everyone in the studio.

Narsha said, "I don't really drink soju but when it comes to other kinds of alcohol, I usually drink until the gathering/party/event is over." After hearing this, the MCs jokingly said, "It feels like you should have a bottle in your back pocket right now." Narsha also shared her drinking habits. She said, "I've hugged and kissed guys from being drunk but I've never danced in front of a guy before."

Netizens who watched this episode showed much interested. They commented, "Of course, it's Narsha," "She looks like she is a great drinker," "She spoke about this before in a previous show and I laughed so hard" and "I'm curious as to how much she can drink."

Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In held a funny English Conversation on a recent episode of OnStyle‘s ‘Launch My Life – Ga In’s Fashion King‘.

Ga-In transformed into a CEO of a public relations company called ‘Mental Breakdown’ on her new reality program, ‘Launch My Life’. After unsuccessfully searching the streets of Hongdae for new employees, Ga-In decided to hold interviews in her office.

As the 1st applicant who had studied and lived abroad made his way into the office, Ga-In quickly asked him to express his first impression of her in English. The applicant replied, “Your eyes are really big and you’re really stylish,” to which Ga-In shly answered back, “Thank you.”

However, the applicant then remarked, “Your skin is very good,” causing Ga-In to be taken aback with surprise and ask, “You said I’m skinny?” The applicant quickly clarified saying that he was referring to her skin. Ga-In then immediately blamed the applicant for his poor pronunciation, offering big laughs to the viewers.

Songwriter Yoon Il Sang’s 4th digital single album of I’m 21, the 21st anniversary album, will be released today on several online music sites at midnight.

The album includes Ga In’s song “For You Not To Know” and No Brain’s “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” A suggestive music video for Ga In’s song was released today at 10 o’clock in the morning on Gom TV and was surrounded by controversy.

The video is about a man who feels sad about his girlfriend’s death. He tries to smother his grief with another girl. In the beginning of the video, the girl who died expresses her sadness but the second half of the video portrays a man and a woman’s intercourse.

People who saw the video responded: “People under 19 years old are not allowed to see the video.” “This is too suggestive. I wonder how the result is going to be.” “I don’t know if they performed so well but it’s too realistic.”

Lance, the producer for the album, says, “I’m worrying if the video can pass the deliberation because it is more suggestive than I expected to be. I wish that people can see the whole plot not just the suggestive scenes. But the most thing that I’m worrying about is if the video can’t pass the deliberation, people can’t even watch it.”

Many people are paying attention to the video, starring new actors Lee Jong Ho and Ahn Eun Jung and popular model Ji Ho Jin, if it can pass the deliberation or not.
